Q: Is Lucas Marc Academy an accredited school?
A: Yes, Lucas Marc Academy is accredited as a free standing entity by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts & Sciences (NACCAS), which is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a national accrediting agency for cosmetology/related career schools. We are also certified by the U.S. Department of Education to participate in Title IV Financial Aid programs.

Q: What can I expect from the classes?
A: Classes offer a wide range of instruction including lectures, live demonstrations, guest speakers, videos, and practical application.

Q. What are the graduation requirements?
A: To successfully complete your chosen program and receive a certificate of completion, students must 1) complete the required number of “clock” hours, 2) maintain satisfactory progress as per the criteria of the academy catalog, 3) successfully complete the academy’s final examinations, and 4) must fulfill all financial obligations to the academy.

Q: How will I receive my license when I finish the program?
A: to obtain your license you must pass an examination approved by the Washington State Department of Licensing. Our programs help prepare you for the exam so that you will know what to expect.

Q: How do I find a job once I obtain my license?
A: Although the academy cannot guarantee placement, reasonable effort will be made to assist students in securing suitable employment.
